Working Location: Oil Street Art Space, North Point, Hong Kong
Salary: HK$101.00 per hour
Working hours: Roster basis. Required to work on Mondays, weekends, and public holidays. Shift hours vary, with a 10.5-hour shift including a one-hour payable meal break.

An excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the arts and cultural sector. Representing the Art Promotion Office (LCSD), you will be stationed at the renowned Oil Street Art Space, contributing to the success of public art exhibitions and educational programmes. This role is ideal for students and graduates passionate about building a career in arts administration, curation, or cultural management.
Job Duties:
(a) Ensure the safety of the exhibits and assist in the daily operation of display devices.
(b) Refill and distribute publicity materials.
(c) Receive guests, perform crowd control, and ensure a positive visitor experience.
(d) Introduce the exhibition to and answer enquiries from the public in Cantonese, English, or Mandarin.
(e) Conduct or assist in guided tours and educational programmes.
(f) Assist in the preparation and clean-up for educational activities.
(g) Inspect artwork and equipment conditions, reporting any concerns for maintenance.
(h) Perform attendance counting and conduct visitor surveys for analytical purposes.
(i) Collaborate with customer services, security, and cleaning staff to maintain a professional and tidy display environment.
(j) Perform any other duties as assigned by the project management team.
Requirements:
(a) Graduates or current students of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Cultural Management, Design, Architecture, Hospitality, or other relevant subjects. Priority will be given to those from Visual Arts, Fine Arts, and Cultural Management disciplines.
(b) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with Grade E / Level 2 or above in HKCEE/HKDSEE or equivalent.
(c) Familiarity with the operation of digital devices (e.g., computers, tablets) is preferred.
(d) Mature, able to work under pressure and independently.
(e) Pleasant, outgoing, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
(f) Prior experience as a docent, helper, or ambassador in museums, art fairs, or art projects is a distinct advantage.
