Position: Programme Officer (EKCC/Q/2025/10r)

Salary: HK$ 1342.60 per working day
Working hours: 9:30am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays). Service Call is 9 hours (1-hour meal break included)

Job Duties:
(i) to assist in programme and course planning of the EKCC Academy for Arts Tech; to help the Manager in liaising and negotiating with technology companies and professionals, art practitioners and other parties on terms of engagement, and with tertiary institutions, artists and students for participation of programmes and courses; (ii) to provide logistic support for programmes and courses of the EKCC Academy for Arts Tech, which includes drafting programme plans and contracts, reserving and booking of venues, handling publicity matters, and liaising with backstage offices and potential service providers such as technical personnels, photographers, etc.;
(iii) to act as a coordinator and duty officer of the programmes and courses of the EKCC Academy for Arts Tech, such as following up with enrolment and admission arrangements, and overseeing on-site logistics to ensure smooth running of programmes and courses;
(iv) to support the Manager in implementing the Arts Tech Trainee Programme, which includes handling of engagement of interns, checking the attendance and observing the output from the interns, as well as processing payments for their work accordingly; and
(v) to perform any other duties assigned by senior officers.
Qualification Requirements:
(i) be a permanent resident of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and be lawfully employable in Hong Kong;
(ii) be a holder of Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Sciences/ Cultural Studies/ Communications/ Advertising/ Public Relations or related fields or equivalent;
(iii) have good command of written and spoken Chinese and English (have met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 5' or above in Chinese Language and English Language of the 1-long Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE); or Grade 'C' or above in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature and Use of English of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE); or 'Level 2' in Use of English and Use of Chinese of the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) or equivalent);
(iv) have at least three (3) years' full-time post-qualification working experience in the field of event management/ event operations prior to Quotation Closing Date. Working experience in government offices is preferable; and
(v) be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing.
Other Requirements:
(i) Mature, helpful, pleasant, independent with good interpersonal and communication skills;
(ii) responsible and be able to attend to details and data
(iii) able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules; and
(iv) with working experience in Leisure and Cultural Services Department preferred.
