Position: Project Officer

Contract period: 12 months
Working hours: 08:30hr to 17:30hr (with 1 hour lunch break) from Monday to Thursday,
08:30hr to 16:30hr (with 1 hour lunch break) on Friday
Job Duties:
(a) The Staff shall provide the Specialized Support Services listed in Clauses (b)(i)(1)-(8) and (b)(iii) and assist the Project Supervisor to monitor the progress of GF registration application.
(b) The specialized services shall include:
(i) support the handling of document vetting process for (I) the applications of
GF registration and (II) audit checking on registered GF:
(1) checking the information of the submitted Form GF1/GF2;
(2) checking the validity of the certificate of the corresponding REC and REW on the Form GF1 via computerized system;
(3) preparing emails to the electricity supply companies and the GF's owner to follow up supporting documentation (i.e. FiT scheme commencement letter) for GF registration approval;
(4) preparing letters to the electricity supply companies to acquire the approved loading of an address with GF installation, when required.
(5) inputting the information of the Form GF1/GF2, Form WR1 and other relevant information into the computerized system;
(6) scanning all documentation for GF registration applications (i.e. control sheet, GF commencement letter from the electricity supply companies, minutes, catalogue of major equipment, etc);
(7) printing 'the acceptance letters. with GF registration certificate and .
other associated documents for successful applications, and mail these documents to the applicant in concern;
(8) printing the reject letters for unsuccessful applications and mail the letter to the applicant in concern;
and
(11) any other duties related to the GF registration as assigned by the EÍD of the EMSD.
(iii) Provide miscellaneous support for the operation of the ELD:
(1) providing administration support in the organization such as scanning all documentation of applicants into computerized system;
(2) supporting the operation of the Continuing Professional Development Scheme for Registered Electrical Workers (hereafter called “CPD Scheme”);
(3) supporting the endorsement of WR2 certificates of fixed electrical installations; and
(4) any other clerical duties as assigned by the representatives of EMSD.
