ABOUT POSITION:

• We’re looking for a Web Developer Intern.
• Our host company offers meaningful work experience, strong supervision, supportive work environment, and is planning to offer permanent employment for the suitable candidate.

ABOUT YOU:
You must:

• be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
• have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
• be committed to a career in your field of study.
• be able to work at least 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP
• Work with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter
• Design and manage databases using MySQL
• Build REST APIs and backend services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance
• Collaborate with designers and frontend developers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of PHP and OOP concepts
• Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with database design and SQL
• Experience with Git
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• API integration experience
• Understanding of web security and optimization
• Knowledge of hosting/server management is a plus

LOCATION:
The host company is located at Sydney.
