We are looking to hire enthusiastic accounting students and graduates to fill various temporary and permanent accounting roles within our reputable clients.

ABOUT OUR CLIENTS
As a Junior Accountant, you will be working within the finance departments of medium to large companies or in reputable accounting firms under the supervision of highly experienced and qualified accountants who will support and train you on the job.

ABOUT POSITION
Your position may have responsibility for the following:

• Complete income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and super funds within the assigned deadline and productivity target.
• Identify if the client has complied with the superannuation guarantee.
• Preparation of annual payroll tax reconciliations.
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Preparation of Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) returns including the calculation of liability from the information provided by the client.
• Ledger Entry and Book-keeping
• Preparation of Income and Expenditure Reports, Profit and Loss Statements and Trial Balances
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Undergraduate/Graduate level
• MYOB, Xero, MS Excel, SAP skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.
• The ability to listen and learn from senior staff.
• Achieving consistent pass results in your relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Willing to undertake CA/CPA after completion of bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Must be able to work at least 3 to 5 days per week.
• Must have some industry experience through an internship or accounting job.
• We are also open to interviewing applicants with no experience.
