Restaurant Manager 
Location: Sydney, NSW Company: Japanese Restaurant Chain Employment Type: Full-time 
Our client is a globally recognised Japanese restaurant brand originating from Kyoto, is known for its signature gyukatsu - crispy breaded beef cutlets served medium-rare with premium sauces and traditional Japanese accompaniments.  
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our team and deliver an outstanding dining experience that reflects the quality and hospitality of authentic Japanese cuisine. 
Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience 
• Lead, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff to maintain high service standards 
• Manage daily restaurant operations including service flow, staff coordination, and customer satisfaction 
• Train and develop team members to ensure consistent quality and professionalism 
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively 
• Ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams 
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hospitality regulations 
• Support business growth through strong leadership and operational excellence 

Key Requirements 

• Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality 
• Proven team management and leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment 
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills 
• Previous experience in Japanese cuisine or premium dining environments is an advantage
