Financial / Accountant Assistant Intern

At Study and Work, we are partnering with a well-established and recognized bakery brand in Melbourne to offer an exciting internship opportunity for a Financial / Accountant Assistant Intern. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply their knowledge in a real business environment and gain valuable exposure within the food & hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and financial operations
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with financial tracking
• Process invoices and monitor expenses
• Maintain accurate financial records and data entry
• Assist in preparing basic financial and management reports
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team

About You

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Intermediate Excel skills (experience with Xero or MYOB is advantageous)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
