ABOUT POSITION:
We’re looking for a Cyber Security Intern

be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.

be able to work at least 3 days per week.
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of Cyber Security principles
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
Knowledge of tools like Wireshark, Nessus, or Metasploit (basic level)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Understand Cyber Security Basics Gain knowledge of network security, risk management, and common threats like malware and phishing.
Identify Security Vulnerabilities Detect system weaknesses and perform basic vulnerability assessments.
Use Security Tools Work with tools like Wireshark, Nessus, and understand firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Monitor & Respond to Incidents Track security alerts and assist in incident response and reporting.
Follow Security Standards Understand basic compliance and data protection practices.
Develop Technical Skills Improve problem-solving and strengthen networking and system knowledge.
Improve Communication Prepare reports and clearly communicate security findings.
Gain Industry Exposure Understand real-world cybersecurity practices and teamwork.
