About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to join a growing organisation based in Sydney, Australia. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about data and want to gain hands-on experience working with real business datasets, dashboards, and analytics tools.
This opportunity will allow you to develop practical skills in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
Please note: This is a self-funded internship designed to provide Australian work experience and professional development.
 
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will support the team with data-driven insights and reporting tasks, including:

• Collecting, cleaning, and organising data from multiple sources
• Analysing datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Assisting in the development of dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Supporting data visualisation and reporting for business stakeholders
• Performing data validation and quality checks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making

Skills & Requirements
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

• Studies in Data Analytics, Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to present insights clearly
