Study & Work is currently recruiting Kitchen Staff for one of our hotel partners in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity for hospitality professionals who are looking to grow their career within a reputable hotel environment.
We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:
- Sous Chef
- Chef de Partie
- Commis Chef
- Kitchen Hand
These roles will allow you to work alongside experienced chefs in a professional hotel kitchen, supporting daily operations and delivering high-quality food service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking according to hotel standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures
- Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff
- Assist with stock preparation and kitchen organisation
Requirements
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Flexible availability including weekends and evening shifts
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have full working rights in Australia
