ABOUT POSITION:

• We’re looking for an Human Resource Intern
• Our host company offers meaningful work experience, strong supervision, supportive work environment, and is planning to offer permanent employment for the suitable candidate.

ABOUT YOU:
You must:

• have relevant degree qualifications and/or equivalent experience
• have relevant experience in human resources or people & culture functions including recruitment and selection and HR administration
• have computer skills in database systems and the Microsoft Office suite (spreadsheeting, word processing).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• be highly organised and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• demonstrae ability to work as part of a team and promote a positive workplace culture
• experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• be able to work at least 3 days per week.

  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Posting and removing job advertisements
• Scheduling interviews with shortlisted candidates
• Collecting pertinent payroll data
• Updating employee records with information regarding new hires
• Screening resumes
• Initiating background checks on potential candidates
• Improving and implementing HR policies and procedures
• Data entry, updating internal databases, and filing HR documents

  
LOCATION:
The host company is located at Melbourne.
