B2B Digital Marketing & AI Strategy Intern (Education Sector)
Location: Melbourne
Duration: 12-week Internship
 
An established Australian education provider with over 30 years of industry experience is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to support B2B marketing initiatives within the education sector.
This internship provides structured, hands-on experience in database development, AI-assisted research, and email marketing campaign execution. The intern will work directly with the Director and gain practical exposure to real-world marketing systems and business operations in Australia.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internet-based research to build and maintain a targeted B2B client database
• Use AI tools (including ChatGPT and other research platforms) to enhance research accuracy and efficiency
• Organise and manage audience segmentation within Mailchimp and FloDesk
• Create email marketing materials tailored to the education sector
• Execute and monitor direct email marketing campaigns
• Maintain structured records and follow established standard operating procedures

• Development of a structured B2B database in the Australian market
• Practical application of AI tools in marketing research
• Hands-on experience with email marketing automation platforms

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Marketing, Business, IT, Communications, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage spreadsheets accurately
• Confident conducting online research
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and execute tasks independently
• Strong written communication skills
• Familiarity with AI tools and email marketing platforms is advantageous but not essential
