Job Title: Accounts Payable Intern

Duration: Unpaid Internship (12 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the processing of invoices and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Help maintain the accounts payable ledger and reconcile vendor statements.
• Support the preparation of payment runs and ensure adherence to our company’s policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and queries related to invoices and payments.
• Input and update data into financial software systems.
• Assist in the review and organization of documents for audit purposes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Gain exposure to the broader finance department functions, including budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
