Water Specialist (Residential Sales)
A leading global water solutions brand (45+ years in water treatment innovation) is expanding and hiring 2 high-performing Water Specialists to join their residential sales team.
This is a high-risk, high-reward opportunity designed for confident, commission-driven closers who want full control of their earning potential.
About the Role as a Water Specialist, you will meet homeowners through pre-qualified, warm appointments (no cold calling) to:
- Conduct in-home water testing
- Diagnose water quality concerns
- Deliver compelling product presentations
- Recommend tailored water filtration and purification solutions
- Close the sale and manage customer relationships through installation
This is consultative B2C sales — combining technical demonstration, education, and confident closing ability.
Appointments are booked for you. Your role is to show up, build trust, demonstrate value, and close.
Compensation Structure
Month 1 (Training Period): After Month 1: - Commission-only
- Independent contractor (no benefits)
- No mileage reimbursement (expenses tax-deductible)
- Uncapped commission
Expected OTE: $100,000 – $160,000
Top performers consistently earn within this range.
This role is not suited for risk-averse individuals seeking guaranteed base income. Strong financial confidence and belief in your closing ability are essential.

Territory & Travel Large regional coverage including:
- Durham Region (Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering)
- GTA (Markham, Richmond Hill)
- West to Grimsby (near Hamilton)
Must:
- Have your own reliable vehicle
- Hold a valid Class G license
- Be comfortable driving within a 100 km radius
- Work Structure
- Independent Contractor
- 5 days per week
- Availability between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Appointments typically scheduled 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- One weekend day required
- Work from home when not in appointments
At-home responsibilities include:
- CRM updates
- Following up with prospects
- Sending proposals
- Administrative tasks
- Handling inbound communication
