CNC Sliding Head Setter / Programmer
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our Client is a specialist manufacturer processing advanced polymers and producing high-precision CNC machined components for customers worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Sliding Head Setter / Programmer to join their busy shop floor team.
The Role
You will be responsible for setting and programming CNC sliding head machines, working primarily on Star machines, and contributing to the efficient production of high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities

• Setting and programming CNC sliding head machines
• Working predominantly with Star CNC machines
• Ensuring components are produced to the highest quality standards
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC Sliding Head Setter / Programmer
• Proven ability to set and program CNC sliding head machines
• Strong engineering background with a passion for precision manufacturing
• Willingness to develop skills and grow within the role

Working Hours

• Day Shift: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Late Shift: 4-day week (39 hours total)
  • Monday-Wednesday: 1:30pm - Midnight
  • Thursday: 1:30pm - 11:00pm
  • Friday: Off
  • Includes up to 20% shift allowance on the basic hourly rate
