Job Overview:
Role: Support Worker
Location: Dinnington - S25
Hours: Full Time: 37.5 per week
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Shift rota:

• Days: 7am until 3pm
• Afters: 3pm until 11pm
• Nights 11pm until 7am

Part time hours, will also include evenings and weekends

About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you'll be a vital part of the daily lives of those you support. You'll provide both emotional and practical assistance to adults with:

• Learning disabilities and autism
• Challenging behaviours
• Sensory impairments and communication difficulties

Within your role you can expect to do the following responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, emotional support, and promote independence
• Assist with daily living tasks - cooking, cleaning, medication, etc.
• Encourage involvement in hobbies and activities (e.g. swimming, football, travel)
• Build trusting, positive relationships with individuals and their families
• Support during moments of crisis and celebrate personal achievements
• Work as part of a compassionate, values-driven care team

What You'll Need:

• A kind, compassionate, and proactive attitude
• Person-centred care approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Confidence supporting individuals with complex and challenging needs
• Previous experience in social care (desirable but not essential)
• Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (advantageous but not required)
• Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act (desirable)
