We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team at Tweed Road Motors Ltd in. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our commitment to high-quality vehicle testing and repairs, ensuring that every vehicle meets safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough MOT tests on various vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues as needed
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of tests and repairs performed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environments
Skills / RequirementsProven experience as an MOT Tester or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills for customer interaction
Relevant certifications for MOT testing preferred
