Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a small, privately owned garage? We're a friendly and busy workshop dedicated to providing top-quality MOTs, servicing, and mechanical repairs for a wide range of road cars. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and high standards of workmanship.

We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual who can hit the ground running. You'll be a key part of our small team, responsible for diagnosing and resolving a variety of vehicle issues.

What you'll be doing

• Performing vehicle diagnostics using modern equipment to identify faults accurately.
• Carrying out routine servicing in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Undertaking a broad range of mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, clutches, and engine work.
• Conducting MOT pre-checks and presenting vehicles for test.
• Investigating and resolving complex intermittent faults.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Workshop Technician in a garage environment.
• Strong diagnostic skills and a solid understanding of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of general vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A valid UK driving license.
• An MOT Tester qualification is highly desirable, but not essential if you have strong relevant experience.
