The Role
As a CNC Router Programmer & Operator, you will create CNC programs and set up/operate CNC router machinery to manufacture precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
You'll play a key role in ensuring production quality and efficiency while contributing to the client's high standards and manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Interpret technical drawings and CAD models ✔ Develop, optimise, and simulate CNC programs ✔ Select tools, speeds, feeds, and cutting paths ✔ Set up and calibrate CNC router machinery ✔ Conduct first-off and in-process inspections ✔ Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed ✔ Perform basic machine maintenance and report issues promptly ✔ Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures ✔ Maintain a clean and organised work area
