Our client are looking for a Registered Manager for their Barnsley branch, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional home care services that meet the unique needs of every individual we support. You'll manage the day-to-day branch operations, ensure compliance, oversee staff performance, and drive branch growth.

Branch / Registered Manager - Domiciliary Care
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year (dependent on experience) + performance bonus
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Management

• Lead, supervise, support, and motivate all branch employees
• Recruit staff at all levels, including advertising, interviewing, referencing, health checks, and DBS applications
• Conduct exit interviews and report patterns or concerns to senior management
• Deliver induction, training, supervision, and staff development
• Drive clear and open communication across the team through meetings and reporting
• Monitor staff performance, manage probation periods, and handle disciplinary matters when required

Care Quality & Compliance

• Ensure client needs (emotional, physical, medical, spiritual) are assessed and met via care plans and reviews
• Oversee the branch QA system and ensure client feedback is regularly collected
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance within the branch and client homes
• Ensure all mandatory training is completed and recorded

About You:

• Experience managing a domiciliary care service (minimum 1 year)
• Strong business management skills and the ability to drive branch growth
• Experience leading teams and managing performance
• A clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• A caring nature, passion for supporting others, and a strong team ethic
• Ability to work every other weekend and provide backup support
