Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to join their team and play a crucial role in their administrative operations. 

Position: Payroll Team Leader
Rate: £22.14 per hour (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: Fixed-Term (6 Months) with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities:

• As Payroll Team Leader, you will oversee activity in the Employee Services team to ensure our payroll processes are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• You will play a key role in contributing to the successful implementation of our new people system by ensuring a smooth transition from our current payroll system whilst maintaining the reliability and success of our payroll operations.
• With a strong background in pensions, you will confidently manage and oversee our pension processes and have a key focus on ensuring the accuracy of system data and reporting to third parties whilst collaborating closely with the project teams.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Payroll Team Leader role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development. 
• Proven experience as a Payroll Team Leader or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, statutory payments and regulations.
• Relevant academic/ professional qualification.
