Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Adult Counsellor to join their team based in London

PAY RATE: £32,000 
WORK TYPE: Permanent

JOB SUMMARY
The Adult Counsellor will be doing one to one counselling a caseload of 16 clients per week who are survivors of sexual violence. 
  
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• To provide counselling sessions face to face
• To conduct new clients consultations and assessments 

  
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Qualification (at least Diploma level) in counselling/psychotherapy and registration with relevant professional body.
• Demonstrable post-qualifying clinical experience with at least 200 supervised clinical hours overall
• Knowledge and experience of a range of therapeutic methods and techniques to enable clients to fully engage in the therapeutic process
