The Wilner group has teamed up with a third-party property management company that oversees properties across the northeastern region and is currently in the process of recruiting a Sr. Property Accountant.  This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule of 3 days working remotely and 2 days working in the office at their Pleasantville, NJ location. Compensation $80k-$95k based on experience.
  
Requirements:

• Review, guide, and mentor Property Staff Accountants.
• Maintain work papers and assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns.
• Review monthly bank reconciliations.
• Record and review monthly adjusting, prepaid and accrual entries.
• Monitor cash balances and recommend capital calls and distributions from/to investors.
• Review monthly financial statement analysis according to GAAP.

  
Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 5 years of experience are required.
• Experience in the real estate/property management field preferred.
• Accuracy and timeliness in the completion of the workload is required in this position.
• RealPage experience is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
