Together we are searching for a Tax Manager to join their team at their New York, NY location offering a hybrid schedule, Monday and Wednesday - in the office.


Requirements:

• Interact closely with clients to provide advanced tax planning, consulting and compliance expertise.
• Review returns prepared by tax associates and seniors.
• Oversee and manage all tax reporting and compliance with federal, state, local, and international tax laws.
• Analyze and review financial data to identify tax savings and minimization opportunities.
• Conduct research on tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and developments.
• Provide guidance and support to tax staff and assist in their professional development

• Must be in New York City office on Monday's and Wednesday's - e.g., client/team meetings; training & mentoring; team collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university required.
• MST degree a plus.
• Active CPA license required.
• 7+ years of progressive financial services tax experience required.
• Experience working with asset management clients – e.g., hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds, management companies and high-net-worth individuals required.
