Who our client is:
An international manufacturer and technology leader with decades of experience providing innovative infrastructure solutions for customers in the energy, telecom, defense, transportation, and other industrial markets. Its solutions protect mission-critical applications and ensure the best possible system availability.

The company’s product portfolio includes lightning and surge protection technologies, structured cabling and connectivity solutions, power management systems, custom enclosures, cabinets, and wireless network concealments. Together we are looking for an Electrical Engineering Director to join their team full-time, 50% remote %50 travel, with the ability to travel  a three hour plane ride to Idaho is preferred.

Requirements:

• Drive innovation and ensure the successful execution of complex engineering projects which align with the company’s goals.
• Lead the electrical engineering development team by providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.
• Coordinate with the Sr. Director, Product Development Engineering and Director, Applications Engineering, to manage the efficient and timely translation of customer requirements into viable and optimal product solutions.

Qualifications:

•  15+ years of product development experience in an electrical/electronic manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Registration as a professional engineer (PE) would be beneficial.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices with an analytical and problem-solving bent.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with an ability to think strategically and drive innovation within the company.
• 50% of the time traveling and 50% of the time working remotely.

  
Compensation, Benefits, Perks:
Compensation: $170-$175k + 15-20% bonus.
