Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company in Western New York, is seeking an experienced Customer Account Manager to join their team!
This is an on-site/full-time/4-month contract position
Hourly range based on experience: Up to $38/HR
Job Summary: The Customer Account Manager (CAM) position is a highly visible, developmental role responsible for overseeing and managing customer relationships. The CAM oversees customer accounts to ensure contractual compliance while safeguarding profitability and operational efficiency. The scope of this position includes: developing and maintaining customer relationships; conducting regular sales and booking analyses across OEM, aftermarket, and all programs; supporting Business Unit Managers in establishing the yearly business plan; overseeing activities to ensure customer service and price objectives are met; negotiating contracts; and other business-related activities.
What you will do: - Support the customer's account and relationship.
- Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager (BUM) and departments in meeting contractual commitments, production schedules, and in resolving problems.
- Ensure compliance with customer contractual requirements.
- Create all cost estimates and price quotes to be reviewed with the Director of Sales and BUM.
- Monitor, contest, and improve customer account scorecard data.
- Perform detailed quantitative analysis of sales and bookings data and prepare regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) reports and forecasts on current and future performance of the product line for management.
- Assist the BUM in collecting and analyzing data to create the annual business plan.
- As a member of the Customer Support Team (CST), work as part of a team to address all product line issues, including production, engineering, delivery, sales, and quality.
- Help prepare and present CST updates to the BUT and Leadership Team on product line performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, management, or engineering; MBA is a plus.
- 3 years' related experience in aerospace, manufacturing, and/or engineering experience is a plus.
- Quantitative business experience desired, including technical sales, engineering, finance, and operations.
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly strong in Excel).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to travel up to 20% with minimal advance notice.
