Our retail client in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Customization Specialist to join their team!
This is an onsite/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary range based on experience: $20-$23/HR
About the Role We're looking for a Customization Specialist to join our Creative Department, someone with an eye for detail, a passion for design, and the technical know-how to help bring our customers' ideas to life.
In this role, you'll help create customized jewelry and new charms for our extensive catalog while operating and maintaining advanced design and engraving equipment. You'll work closely with our design, production, and merchandising teams to transform creative concepts into finished products that celebrate life's most meaningful moments.

Key Responsibilities - Operate UV printer system to produce high-quality custom and production charms
- Set up and process artwork for the UV printing system
- Perform quality control and routine maintenance using precision measuring equipment
- Develop fixtures, jigs, and templates to improve workflow and engraving precision
- Collaborate with the creative and production teams to refine and improve processes
- Operate laser engraving system to create quality custom and production charms
- Design and develop new charm prototypes for customer orders and catalog expansion
- Utilize 3D printers, rotary engravers, and scanners for production and prototyping
- Laser-engrave brass molds used in factory manufacturing
- Redesign or recreate vintage and customer charms through 3D scanning and modeling
Qualifications - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (required)
- Experience with 3D modeling (Rhino preferred)
- Familiarity with 3D sculpting tools (Forger, ZBrush for iPad a plus)
- Experience with 3D scanning (Laser or Structured Light) and 3D printing (Formlabs a plus)
- A creative, self-motivated individual who enjoys working hands-on in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
