Our client in California is seeking a remote Senior SAP Cloud ALM & BTP Integration Engineer to join their team!
This is a remote/part-time/contract position
Hourly rate based on experience: $80-$100/HR
Position Summary
Senior technical consultant for SAP BTP Cloud Foundry integrations and SAP Cloud ALM (Operations & Implementation) across our client's SAP ERP ecosystem. Partners with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure integration stability, reduce reliance on external consultants, and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- BTP Integration Development — Architect and maintain SAP BTP Cloud Foundry flows connecting SAP to Salesforce, Shopify, Amazon FBA/FBM, EDI, 3PL, and bank lockbox files.
- Cloud ALM Ownership — Administer SAP Cloud ALM end-to-end: monitoring scope, exception thresholds, alerting,
roles/access, and test & project management. - Monitoring & Error Management — Build monitoring frameworks across BTP and Cloud ALM; triage integration failures and define escalation paths.
- Integration Governance — Oversee SAP integrations supporting supply chain, distribution, and sales stability.
- Technical Leadership — Mentor junior engineers and guide external consultants on BTP standards, Cloud ALM procedures, and architecture patterns.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions.
- Drive change management, testing, deployment, and Git-based version control across DEV/QA/PROD.
Experience & Skills - 6-8 years of SAP development experience, including 4+ years on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry (Integration Suite / iFlow).
- Hands-on SAP Cloud ALM administration (Operations & Implementation) — platform ownership, not just dashboard use.
- SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, SAP HANA.
- Strong experience in CI/CD using CTMS (Cloud Transport Management System) &version control management tools (Git, Bitbucket)
- Solution Manager (SoLMan) experience
- BTP Certification is a plus
- Agile experience; Jira, Confluence a plus.
- Languages: Java, Python, Node.js, REST/SOAP, SAP Fiori/UI5.
