Role: Lead Agentic AI & Data Scientist w/ Active Top Secret or DHS Clearance
Job Location: Ashburn, VA, Washington D.C. - Hybrid (2 days per week).
Job Description:
Seeking a Lead Agentic AI & Data Scientist to support AI and advanced analytics initiatives. In this role, you will solve complex business problems by using software engineering skills to build autonomous agents and the LLMs they leverage to act and adapt. You will also apply advanced analytics to analyze structured and unstructured data.
The ideal candidate will understand data, know how to create models to analyze, and create agents guided by that data.
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead initiatives in Agentic AI, Generative AI, and advanced Data Science.
Drive innovation in advanced analytics with federal datasets and enterprise AI solutions.
Design and deploy Generative AI systems for autonomous decision-making and workflow efficiency.
Design and build agentic agents to enhance and supplement SaaS-based workflows.
Build and deploy scalable data pipelines.
Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques for data assessment.
Architect and support the build of AI-driven retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and knowledge graph projects.
Collaborate to produce AI-powered dashboards and insights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
U.S. Citizen; Active Top-Secret Clearance or DHS Public Trust Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
6+ years of experience in AI and data analytics.
Proficient in R, Python, and AI/ML frameworks (i.e., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Practical experience with Generative AI models (including LLMs) and Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI).
Experience building autonomous agents that use LLMs to perceive, decide, and act independently.
Experience with APIs to platforms like Twilio, Google Cloud, etc.
Proficient in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and knowledge graphs.
Skilled in visualization tools and interactive dashboards.
Hands-on experience leveraging cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda) to design and implement data processing, storage, and analytics solutions.
Hands-on experience with Docker.
Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE:
Master's degree.
Experience integrating AI solutions with SaaS/PaaS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.).
Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
Experience with Google Gemini.
Knowledge of federal data governance standards and compliance frameworks.
Clearance:
