Job Description:
Seeking a Business Analyst to play a key role in ensuring successful product delivery through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
In this role, you will support end-users by eliciting requirements and developers by validating that business needs are met. Additionally, you will have exposure to project leadership by gathering and reporting on key project data.
The Business Analyst will bridge business needs with technical execution by gathering requirements, translating business requirements into user stories with acceptance criterion, and helping validate that solutions meet business expectations before release.
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements.
Document requirements as user stories with acceptance criteria.
Create requirements traceability matrices.
Support estimation, prioritization, and release assignment for user stories.
Plan, coordinate, and support UAT activities.
Develop UAT test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements.
Work with end users to execute tests and document results.
Support Section 508 compliance considerations during requirements definition.
Contribute to program deliverables, including weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and stakeholder briefings.
Develop and maintain process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports to track system metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
U.S. Citizen; Active DHS clearance or Top-Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or other related discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience working with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements.
Experience in documenting requirements in user story format.
Experience in writing test scenarios and/or test cases based on user stories.
Skilled in executing test cases and documenting results.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in tools including Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
NICE TO HAVES
Familiarity with ServiceNow.
Familiarity with Power BI, creating reports, and dashboards.
Scrum Master certification.
Clearance:
