Seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a manufacturing and machine shop operation in Fruitport, Michigan.
This position will identify, standardize, and improve manufacturing processes, with particular attention to CNC changeovers, machine setups, programming, productivity, and workflow. The engineer will collaborate with production, quality, machine shop, and foundry teams.
Key qualifications:
3+ years of manufacturing continuous improvement or plant engineering experience.
Experience standardizing and improving manufacturing processes.
Experience improving CNC changeovers, setups, or programming.
CNC machining or machine shop experience strongly preferred.
Ability to collaborate with production, quality, and foundry teams.
Familiarity with KPIs, piecework scheduling, and action-based contingencies.
Blueprint-reading ability preferred.
Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar experience preferred.
