Role: Mold Maintenance Technician
Location: Longmont, CO.
Job Description:
Maintain the condition, location, usage, and status of all molds and fixtures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Good computer skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Good math skills.
- Must be able to reach and pull 100 lbs. often.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Toolroom/Machine Shop experience a plus.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Bilingual a plus.
Mold Maintenance Technician Job Duties: - Follow the preventative maintenance schedule for molds.
- Perform minor repairs and enhancements to molds and fixtures.
- Stage fixtures and molds for production and sampling runs.
- Document all fixture and mold repairs.
- Evaluate 'Request For Tool Repair' forms and schedule necessary work to be done.
- Oversee the mold tagging process.
- Assign and manage mold storage locations.
- Report mold and fixture status to the scheduler.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties: None
Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Mathematical Skills: Strong Basic Math Skills (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division).
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift Certification (Preferred).
