Senior UiPath RPA Developer
Location: Washington, D.C.
Job Type: Hybrid (Springfield, VA - 1-2 days per week).
Seeking a Senior UiPath RPA Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.
The architect will be a key contributor to automation initiatives supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders and security teams to develop and deliver secure and scalable solutions that are aligned with enterprise standards. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership, technical, and business experience, particularly in mission-oriented environments.
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support attended automations using UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and UiPath Robot Assistant that align with business needs and technical best practices.
Package and promote automations across environments, while implementing exception handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting for production automations.
Collaborate with government stakeholders to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
Guide usage of automation products, evaluating new technologies and industry trends to enhance RPA capabilities.
Support Technical documentation on solution design, business process, and end-user training as needed.
Participate in Agile delivery (standups, sprint planning, reviews).
QUALIFICATIONS:
U.S. Citizen; Active DHS clearance or Top-Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience with RPA solutions, primarily UiPath.
Experience with UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and UiPath Assistant (development, configuration, deployment).
Experience with: RPA workflow automation, Business process mapping and documentation, and COTS system integration.
Experience implementing exception handling, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting support.
Experience working with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to design technical solutions to business problems.
NICE TO HAVES
Experience being a member of an RPA/Automation Center of Excellence (CoE).
Experience working with AI/ML integrations in RPA.
Previous work in DHS or TSA environments.
UiPath certification(s).
