ABOUT POSITION:

• We’re looking for a Structural Engineering Intern.

ABOUT YOU:
You must:

• be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
• have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
• be committed to a career in your field of study.
• have knowledge of sustainable design practices.
• be familiar with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
• be able to work at least 3 days per week.

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and analyze structures including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Review architectural and engineering plans to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor construction progress and quality.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers on project development.
• Use structural design software and tools to model and simulate performance.
• Ensure projects comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Identify and resolve structural issues or design challenges.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.

 
 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
