Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Website Developer Intern with a strong interest in WordPress development and content management. This internship will offer hands-on experience in managing, updating, and improving our website, with opportunities to contribute to real-world digital projects.
Key Responsibilities: · Update and maintain website content using WordPress CMS
· Assist with creating new pages and blog posts as needed
· Implement minor layout/design changes (using themes, plugins, or basic HTML/CSS)
· Troubleshoot website issues (broken links, layout inconsistencies, plugin errors)
· Ensure responsiveness and mobile compatibility across devices
· Assist with basic SEO tasks (metadata, alt tags, permalinks, etc.)
· Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on web updates
Requirements: · Familiarity with WordPress (posting, editing, using plugins/themes)
· Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
· A keen eye for detail and design consistency
· Ability to follow brand/style guidelines
· Good communication and time management skills
· Willingness to learn and take initiative
Preferred (but not required): · Knowledge of SEO principles
· Experience with website builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
· Understanding of Google Analytics or similar tools
· Experience with Adobe XD, Canva, or other design platforms
Education: · Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Web Development, Computer Science, IT, Digital Media, or related field
