We are seeking a seasonal, highly independent Tractor Operator to join our agricultural team based in Goondiwindi, Queensland. This role primarily involves operating Claas tractors for spreading fertiliser and making compost, with work concentrated within a 150km radius of the base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class tractors for various agricultural tasks including fertiliser spreading and compost production.
• Manage and maintain equipment, including a truck and trailer with loaders.
• Engage in maintenance duties during quieter periods.

Requirements:

• Experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly tractors and implements.
• Ability to work independently and proactively find additional tasks or employment during off-peak times.
• Commitment to maintaining equipment in top condition.

• Studio accommodation provided near the homestead, equipped with toilet and shower facilities. Renovations in the pipeline.
• This position would ideally suit a local.
• Access to modern machinery with less than 1000 operational hours.

Please note this is a seasonal role; during quieter periods, maintenance tasks may be available, but candidates may need to seek alternative employment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and is comfortable managing both routine tasks and agricultural challenges. No baling involved, only spreading fertiliser and making compost.
