Our client specializes in Annual Reporting, offering exceptional services in the production of Annual and Interim Financial Reports for companies listed on the stock exchange. They have a strong market presence and are highly regarded for their high-quality work. This role is based in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
  
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented Digital Developer to join our Clients team, focusing on delivering high-quality digital solutions, including websites, applications, and other digital assets. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent performance, functionality, and user experience while mentoring junior team members and promoting a collaborative work environment. Key responsibilities include adhering to coding standards, managing workflows, optimizing website security, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.  
   
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• Recognised degree in Web Development, or related field with at least 5 years’ commercial experience. Alternatively, equivalent work experience demonstrating relevant skills and at least 5 years’ commercial experience.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, responsive design, and coding best practices, with strong experience in Bootstrap, WordPress, and CMS template development.
• Expertise in website deployment, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and mobile compatibility.
• Strong skills in PHP, JavaScript (jQuery), CSS pre-processors (LESS/SCSS), and UX/UI principles, with experience using design tools like Adobe, Sketch, and Figma.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in web development, including client-server systems, and a portfolio required.
• Advantageous: Experience with Chase software, proficiency in English (Afrikaans a plus), own transport, and flexibility to work after hours and attend client meetings.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Develop scalable, high-quality digital projects with clean, compliant code, ensuring seamless updates and effective client/stakeholder management.
• Oversee project timelines, resource management, and quality assurance, while proposing process improvements and adhering to workflow standards.
• Drive innovation, pursue professional development, and contribute to the corporate knowledge base.
• Mentor and lead teams, collaborating with Project Managers to identify needs, evaluate solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain website security, perform regular updates and backups, and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outputs.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
