JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a Sales & Production Coordinator to join their team in Cape Town, South Africa. This role will be responsible for managing sales of the full product range to existing customers while coordinating production and ensuring smooth order processing and delivery.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for this vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar sales and coordination role, preferably in a technical or marine environment
• Experience in key account management will be advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer-centric approach and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using ERP systems for order and invoice processing
• Ability to liaise effectively between sales, production, and stores departments to ensure customer satisfaction

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
• Preparing and presenting quotations to customers as needed
• Capturing orders and processing invoices using the company’s ERP system
• Undertaking upselling activities where possible
• Liaising with Production Department Managers on order lead times and progress
• Providing customers with regular feedback on order status and delivery timelines
• Coordinating with the Stores Department regarding order readiness and dispatch

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
A market-related salary, reflective of the responsibilities of this role, will be offered.
