JOB SUMMARY
A global ship management group is looking to appoint a President of Manning & Crew Operations to lead their operations in the Philippines. This executive-level role holds full strategic and operational accountability for manning compliance, client engagement, seafarer retention, and cost control—ensuring world-class service delivery to international clients.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for the vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• At least 5 years of experience leading manning or crewing operations
• A valid Master Mariner or Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
• Excellent knowledge of Filipino crewing regulations and maritime labour trends
• A proven ability to manage shore-based teams and ensure service delivery across fleets
• Commercial acumen and the ability to engage confidently with clients and the Board

Only Filipino nationals will be considered for this position due to local compliance and regulatory requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Full oversight of the manning office, seafarer planning, and regulatory compliance
• Liaison with clients and senior leadership on forward planning and training needs
• Ensuring high levels of seafarer retention and engagement
• Managing crewing budgets, costs, and crew change efficiency
• Leading emergency response and supporting crew welfare initiatives

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
