THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

Proven work experience as a Production Scheduler, Planner or similar role (minimum 3 years)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and organized to manage multiple schedules and tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and negotiation abilities

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity
Coordinate with production, sales, and supply chain to develop and adjust schedules to meet production goals
Update production schedule to include changes, availability of raw materials, and capacity constraints
Assess and identify any issues that might impact the production schedule and implement corrective actions where necessary
Communicate with management and other stakeholders about the status of production schedules and any potential issues that may arise
Optimize production operations for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Compile and verify standard equipment output
Identify bottlenecks and constraints
Compile and maintain a detailed capacity plan
Introduce OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) into the organization

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
A market related salary based on the level of responsibility for this role is on offer.
