JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee their business unit operations in Gauteng. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and implementing strategic solutions to enhance overall branch performance.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for the vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• A tertiary qualification in manufacturing, logistics, or finance.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (waste management experience is advantageous).
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and Pastel.
• Sound knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and operational performance.
• Proven ability to build and manage effective teams and customer relationships.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Overseeing labour management, workforce planning, and staff development.
• Coordinating logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective collection of recyclable materials.
• Managing inventory and stock mass balancing.
• Driving productivity improvements and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met.
• Developing and enforcing safety protocols and managing operational risks.
• Overseeing asset maintenance and protection.
• Ensuring governance, compliance, and adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
• Conducting daily SIC reviews to manage performance.
• Managing the sales function and related activities.
