Payroll Officer - Centacare
Location: Brisbane City, 4000
Monday to Friday - 37.5 hour work week.

About the role:
The primary purpose of the position is the responsibility for organising, processing, and verifying salary and associated payments and deductions for all services and their employees within Centacare. This includes ensuring accuracy and adherence to specified time frames.

Key Responsibilites:
- Assist in payroll for all employees fortnightly, from start to finish.
- Calculate and correct errors, process overpayments promptly.
- Develop and understanding of legislative provisions accurately.
- Generate reports using Aurion and Excel.
- Provide internal customer service and ensure timely staff payments.
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations and accurate financial allocations.
- Maintain client relationships and meet Service Level Agreement requirements
About you: - Skilled in written and verbal communication, adept at maintaining records and engaging stakeholders.
- Thrives in small team environments with minimal supervision, reliable in meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Efficient time management and affinity for mathematics, adept at HRIS reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems, including experience with Aurion program and or other payroll systems.
- Experienced in payroll environments.
- Maintains confidentiality and respects privacy of sensitive information.
- Appreciates and understands Catholic Social Teachings.
