About the Opportunity
At St Ita’s Outside School Hours Care, we offer before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 75 children. We’re looking for enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting the growth and development of primary school-aged children. If you’re committed to helping children learn, have fun, and feel safe in a positive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
As an Educator reporting to the Service Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe and welcoming space. You’ll help deliver a variety of engaging, interactive activities that support learning and encourage creativity.
Our Centre
We’re a stand-alone centre at the heart of the school, with strong connections to both the school and local community. Conveniently located near the train station, the University of Queensland, and with a bus stop at our doorstep.

Job Requirements: - Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skill
