About the Role:
At Springfield Lakes OSHC, we're looking for passionate and enthusiastic Educators who are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. As part of our supportive and collaborative team, you'll play a key role in delivering meaningful experiences that encourage learning, creativity, and fun before school, after school, and during vacation care. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities aligned with the My Time, Our Place framework
- Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety and wellbeing
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Support children with behavioural and emotional needs in a respectful and professional manner
About you: - Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
- Willingness to take Child Protection training as required
