We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part Time Educational Leader/Educator to join the team at St Benedicts Outside School Hours Care. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting primary school-aged children's wellbeing, learning and development, while growing their leadership experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will work closely with an experienced Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator and a dedicated team of educators who are committed to providing high-quality care in a fun, safe and engaging setting.
About Our Service
Located within St Benedict's Primary School, our 150 placed service offers easy access to various facilities, including an outdoor multi-purpose court, indoor hall, grassed oval, and playgrounds. As a part of our OSHC team, you will contribute to a safe and fun environment that meets the diverse needs of children, families, and staff. Our services operates between 6:30am and 9:00am Before School Care and 2:30pm-6:00pm After School Care, Vacation Care 6:30am -6:00pm
Job Requirements:
- A Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent (desirable)
- Previous experience as an Educational Leader preferred with an understanding of MY TIME OUR PLACE framework.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification Asthma/Anaphylaxis(or willingness to obtain)
- Current Paid Blue Card
- Child Protection Training is a requirement of this role.
- Must be available Monday- Friday
- Lead the development of the curriculum and ensure the establishment of clear goals and expectations for teaching and learning
- Mentor, guide, and lead all staff so they can contribute to and participate in the effective development and implementation of the educational program
- Promote children's learning and development to families
