About the Role:
Passionate about building community and supporting student success? As our Residential Life Manager, you will create a welcoming, inclusive environment where residents feel connected and cared for. Take the lead in wellbeing initiatives, mentor a team of Residential Advisors, and bring our community to life through meaningful programs and events at the UniLodge @ UC portfolio.

Here's what you will do:
- Plan, run, and improve programs and events that support student wellbeing, engagement, and success.
- Recruit, train, and support Resident Advisors (RAs), helping them build strong relationships and maintain community standards.
- Look after residents’ wellbeing by providing guidance, making referrals, and working with university and local support services.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive community where residents feel safe, respected, and connected.
- Work closely with university teams, contractors, and internal staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent community experiences.
About You: We are seeking a people-first leader who thrives in a dynamic, community-focused environment. With strong emotional intelligence and communication skills, you’re passionate about supporting student wellbeing and creating a positive resident experience.
You’ll also bring:
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of wellbeing, empathy, and mental health
- Strong organisational and time management skills, managing competing priorities across busy periods such as O-Week, exams, and intakes
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- National Police Check + WWVP card.
