The Opportunity:
  
Are you a commercially savvy, analytical thinker with a passion for turning data into meaningful insights? We're looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Head Office team and help drive business growth through robust financial modelling, commercial analysis, and data-driven recommendations that inform key business decisions.

Working with operational and leadership teams to support tender submissions, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities, you will deliver tailored reporting and actionable insights across assets and portfolios.

What You’ll Do:
  
At a glance, you will:

• Develop clear, accurate models to support tenders, bids, and investment opportunities.
• Work with teams to shape pricing strategies and structure competitive, commercially sound proposals.
• Analyse large datasets and translate them into clear, actionable insights that inform decision-making.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards (e.g. Excel, Power BI) that meet the needs of different stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operational and leadership teams to ensure commercial decisions are informed, strategic, and aligned to business goals.

About You:

You are a commercially minded analyst who thrives on turning data into insights and influencing business outcomes. You bring strong financial modelling capability, a sharp attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems. You will also have:

• Tertiary Qualification in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (highly desirable).  
• Advanced Excel skills, with strong financial modelling capability (including scenario analysis and model auditability)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with large datasets
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or similar)
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Valid National Police Check
