A great opportunity is available for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join a busy hotel located near Auckland Airport. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to build a career in hospitality.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Meeting and greeting guests, and managing the process of checking guests in and out of the hotel, including verifying identification, processing payments, and providing room keys.
Assisting with reservations on a day-to-day basis.
Handling phone calls and emails, taking messages, and responding to guest inquiries or concerns
Providing information on local attractions, dining options, transportation, and other services.
Assist with operating the airport shuttle service for guests.
Handling guest complaints or escalating them to the appropriate department for resolution.
Ensuring that reception and public areas are kept clean and tidy.
Performing administrative tasks such as receiving and sorting mail.
Job Requirements:
2 years relevant experience in a front office environment, or customer service role.
A relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field would be an advantage.
Full drivers licence is required.
An aptitude to learn new computer systems.
Must be available to work mornings, evenings and weekends
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Working days & hours: Mon - Sun : Rostered shifts (7:00am - 3:30pm and 2:45pm - 11:15pm) Pay rate: $24.50 - $25 per hour
