An integrated facility service provider at Auckland Airport is looking for casual cleaning team members.
Job Summary
An Airport Cleaning Team Member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout airport terminals, lounges, restrooms, offices, and public areas. The role helps create a clean and welcoming environment for passengers, airline staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize airport facilities including:
- Waiting areas
- Restrooms
- Food courts
- Boarding gates
- Offices
- Escalators and elevators
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly
- Refill cleaning supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Respond quickly to spills and cleaning emergencies
- Follow airport safety, security, and hygiene procedures
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
- Work as part of a team across different airport shifts
Mon - Sun: rostered shifts
1x Cleaning team member for domestic Airport. (1PM-9PM afternoon shift)
2x Cleaning team member for International Airport.( Early morning shift 6AM-2PM)
Job Requirements - Previous cleaning experience preferred but not always required
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to pass airport security/background checks
- Must have reliable transport and full driving license
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pay rate: $23.95
