A New Zealand-owned and operated hotel in the Auckland Airport Precinct is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join its Food & Beverage team. This role offers the opportunity to work across the hotel's À La Carte restaurant and Conference Centre, delivering exceptional service to guests in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

About the Role As a Guest Service Agent, you will play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences by providing professional food and beverage service and supporting conferences and events.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing outstanding customer service to hotel guests.
• Serving food and beverages in the À La Carte restaurant and bar.
• Taking food and drink orders accurately.
• Clearing and resetting tables to a high standard.
• Preparing and delivering room service orders.
• Assisting with conference functions and special events.
• Working collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout service.

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working in an À La Carte restaurant (essential).
• A strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills.
• A professional appearance and attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy hospitality environment.
• Physical fitness to remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work casual shifts, including weekends and early morning starts from 5:00 am.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• A Full New Zealand Driver Licence (preferred).
• The ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check and pre-employment drug test.
• A valid New Zealand work visa, residency, or citizenship.

A current Liquor Licence or General Manager's Certificate is advantageous but not essential.

What's on Offer:

• Casual/part-time role with approximately 10 hours per week.
• Competitive hourly rate of $24.65 per hour.
• Shift lengths of 4–6 hours.

• A supportive team with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to cover leave when available.
